My name is Isaiah Thomas. I have been painting for about three years. I'm very amateur when it comes to painting, but I'm willing to show you what I got.

Today, I'm painting a white boarded window that looks like it's been weathered and aged with a navy blue base and has birds flying through the center of the window. I'm calling it Getting Through.

I usually like to start my paintings off with me putting down the base coat and then figuring out the mood that I'm in, and the vibe that I'm feeling. Then I add a little crackle to the edges. I block off a rectangle right in the middle, so that I can leave that part blue.

I decided to go with birds in the middle. Almost like the window, and you were looking out of the window at the sky and you see those white birds.

So here's the end result of my painting. I really love how she's like randomly cracking in places that I did not expect her to crack. But it gives it that age and it just blends in perfectly with that blue rectangle. And that is exactly what I wanted.
